JOHN HAGEE DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE / SERMON FOR TODAY 8TH OCTOBER 2022
The only set of scales big enough to balance the chaos of our day and to overcome the deceptions of this generation are the words of our Living God Who never falters or fails.
The only scales accurate enough to treat every person with justice are the words of God bound in the pages of the Bible. They equally value every life, fairly and squarely weigh every motive, and grant every individual their full worth.
This Word is the firm foundation that undergirds our lives. It heals our hearts and mends our minds. It delivers from addiction and releases every person that has been restrained. It restores every single thing that the enemy has stolen. When we pray its promises over our family, it erects a hedge of protection that Satan cannot penetrate. When preached to a nation, it brings repentance and revival.
The weight of the world may bow our shoulders, but God sees it as a small thing. He invites us to place it on the scales. We are not big enough to carry it, but His promises outweigh the problems we face.
When we place the issues of our lives on the scales of God’s righteousness, His love, grace, mercy, and justice guarantee that we are treated fairly. Our needs will never overwhelm Him. His promises stand forever.
