God didn’t give you a set of chicken wings or turkey wings to be pecking around on the ground in mediocrity. He’s given you the wings of eagles. God created you to soar. He wants you to rise to new heights, to see new talents, new opportunities, and new levels of influence, favor, and anointing.
Life is too short to settle for things that you know are less than what is in you. Don’t stay in a job where you’re not challenged for the rest of your life. Don’t stay in a field that you don’t enjoy or feel passionate about. You weren’t made to spend the next forty years doing something that’s not fulfilling. If that’s where you are, look for new opportunities to stretch and grow, take courses and learn, and do your part. God will bring you an opportunity that not only challenges you but excites you. Dare to leave the familiar, trusting that God has something better.
