GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 9TH AUGUST 2023.
It may sometimes seem difficult to rejoice or maintain a positive outlook in times like these. The world is filled with moral decadence, and bad news bombards the airwaves to the extent that it seems as if there is nothing to rejoice about. Most people confuse joy and happiness. Joy and happiness are both emotions that bring us plea¬sure. However, there is a key difference between them. Happiness is based on happenings; it is dependent on external circumstances and is fleeting in nature. Joy, on the other hand, comes from God and is eternal.
Joy is the culture of Heaven, and you are a citizen of Heaven, which means joy is your culture. The mere fact that the Word of God tells you to rejoice always means it is possible to do it. So, when life seems tough, look away from external circumstances and tell yourself, “I am in the Lord – the Place of unending joy!” He will never leave or forsake you, which means His joy is always at your disposal. So, make a conscious decision – choose joy, no matter what!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My joy is anchored in the unchangeable God; therefore, I am not subject to happenings. I happen to the things around me. Regardless of the circumstances, I will succeed and experience testimony after testimony after testimony!
