“Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2022.
Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth to be unwavering in their faith and should be rooted and grounded in his (Paul) teachings. Notice that Paul also encouraged them that whatever they do for the Lord is never in vain. Many times, some Believers reach a point wherein they start to question the very existence of God because a tragedy happens to a family member, financial burdens become unbearable, or sickness from the enemy ravages someone very close to them. In these unbearable conditions, the question pops up in their mind, where is God? Have you asked this very question before?
Have you been to a point where you think God has abandoned you? Remember that we must be immovable in our understanding of the word of God, the ultimate source of life. God did not bring you this far to abandon or forsake you. All that you are doing for ministry is never in vain. This scripture should raise your faith to another level! The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Amen!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I will never be moved or tossed by every unpleasant word from the enemy. I am now firmly rooted in God and His word, and this is my anchor. I know that with God, I am victorious. Hallelujah!
