Much of what you think you learned in university is not learned, it is memorized. It is merely head knowledge stored in your brain long enough to pass your exams. That is why if you were given the same exams two years later, you would not pass. Memory is a function of the brain in your head, but another brain you might not be aware of resides in your heart.
In your heart, there are over 40,000 cells called neurites. They can think, feel, and they have memory. That is why the Bible says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he, and it is with the heart that man believes (Proverbs 23:7 KJV).
As you listen to and read the Word of God, you are not only loading the brain in your head but your heart. Just as memories in your mind can be forgotten, the heart’s memories can also grow dim. That is why it is so important to fill your heart with God’s Word constantly. Science has proven that information plus emotion becomes unforgettable. As you hear the Word, respond with everything that is within you. Let the Word of God be memorized in every cell of your heart, never to be erased.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am passionate about the Word of God. His Word is life to my body and health to my flesh. The Word in me fills me with joy and overflowing love.
