The Topic of Goodnews Daily Devotional for 22nd November 2022 Is “THE MULTIPLIER EFFECT”
Today’s Scripture: Luke 9:17 (KJV)
“And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2022.
The setting of this scripture was when Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fishes and fed over five thousand men, excluding women and children. This is powerful considering the natural reality of this miracle. To man, this is impossible. You cannot make sense of catering for over five thousand people just by a meal from an insignificant kid. What caught my attention the most in this miracle was how Jesus instructed his disciples to collect the leftovers and avoid waste. Jesus, who performed the miracle, was keen on ensuring that resources were accounted for and reduced waste. Most believers feel that when a miracle is received, there is no need to be diligent.
Sometimes it’s unbelievable how churchgoers treat church properties, despite having no clue how these things were obtained. If the Lord Jesus can take time and ensure that leftovers are collected and accounted for, how much more church materials? It’s about time to imitate Christ in all parts of life. When you become diligent in your household setting, it will multiply at a larger gathering in a church setting. Do not behave recklessly. The world out there eagerly awaits the manifestation of the sons of God. If you want miracles to multiply in your life, start gathering the crumbs and appreciate the Giver.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I live a life of multiplication and surplus. Lack and want are far removed from my dwelling. I am a carrier of the Godhead with multiplied miracles that will never run out. My life is moving upward and forward only in the name of Jesus.
