GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 1ST AUGUST 2023.
Every night, your body undergoes a unique and remarkable experience: it believes itself to be dead. To ensure that you are still alive, your brain monitors vital signs as you sleep and often causes muscle twitches called hypnic jerks if something appears amiss. That is why you may find yourself suddenly twitching or jerking awake. It’s as though your body read the scripture and recognized its need to die daily. As strange as this may sound, this nightly death is essential for continued life!
It’s understandable for us to feel an in¬voluntary reaction, but what makes us truly powerful is our ability to choose how we respond. Rather than be compromised by pride or anger, practice dying daily. Take the time to look within yourself and identify those habits, mindsets or attitudes that can grasp hold of your heart. Find peace every single day by dying daily for true rest and joy. Let go of prideful moments by dying to your right to always be right, and let offences fade with a reminder that you are dead to them now!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am powered by the Holy Spirit and blessed with a peaceful attitude and unshakable joy! I am not controlled by anything that diminishes my character or brings chaos to my life. Nothing can disturb me because God’s peace supersedes all that seeks to do so.
