“And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 11TH OCTOBER 2022.
The deeper life phase is not for ordinary people but those who desire to live beyond an average Christian life. We used to live by commitment or dedication, but this phase is for those ready to break the lines of the norm. We are used to the God who is light, but there is also a God who lives in thick darkness, the same one who answers by fire. This season is for God-catchers, not God-chasers. We will not just look for Him, but we will be walking and working with Him. We are harnessing the greatest voltage of His presence. God-catchers are those who no longer seek Him but are with Him full-time.
The Bible says, when others stood afar off, Moses (the God-catcher) drew near. Note that God was not in the light but in thick darkness. Moses would follow whether God was in a pillar of fire, cloud, or burning bush because he was a God-catcher. Be that one person who can move to where God is. Don’t be found where God was but where He is. You are a God-catcher, not a chaser. Your house, business, and office embody God’s presence. Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a God-catcher. I seek the heart of God, and I live according to His desire. There is no room for ordinariness, poverty, and inaction in my life in the name of Jesus!
