“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 6TH OCTOBER 2022.
If you think of divine hierarchies, you are tempted to think that there are some powers with more spiritual prowess than God’s word. Remember, the Bible even confirms that Jesus Christ was given a name above every other name (Philippians 2:9 KJV). His name is above cancer, poverty, or any form of ordinariness. God revealed something greater than all these in our scripture today: the “word of God”. The word of God is more powerful than anything you might think of.
The Bible says He magnified His word even above His name (Psalm 138:2 KJV). God, Himself, seeks counsel from His word when He wants to execute something on this Earth. The word of God is not a standard for us only, but even for God Himself. Every miracle you are thinking of right now is hidden in the word of God. As you are reading this prophetic message, a release of God’s anointing is taking place in the name of Jesus. Go for the word, and you shall come back with a testimony. Create your special moments of reading the word of God.
Feeding on the word of God mixed with prayers will give you a balanced spiritual diet. When you read your Bible, you are not just reading any history books; the real power is embedded inside. Starting today, don’t let a day go by without you reading the word of God. It’s a new season and a new dimension of commitment to the word of God. The Word works! Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am going for the word, and I shall come back with a testimony. I shall not tire of reading my Bible and communing with the Lord through prayers and supplication in the name of Jesus.
