When you become a Christian, you are no longer the person you used to be. You may look the same on the outside, but inside you are brand new. Your spirit, the essence of who you are – the real you – are completely different. It has been supplanted or replaced by the Spirit of God. That means you are not an improved version of the old you.
No, not at all! You are a brand-new species of being that never existed before. You are born from above, meaning your culture is no longer part of this world. Your culture is heavenly! You must live with that awareness so that you do not allow the traditions of this world to contaminate your new culture.
Tradition is simply frozen success that is relegated to the systems of this world, but you are not of this world. You are a citizen of Zion and an ambassador of Heaven! Your fashion, celebrations, manner of speaking, and even how you eat are of God. Awaken to the reality of who you are according to the Word of God and live your life according to the culture of Heaven.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the embassy of the Holy Spirit, born from above! I am no longer governed by this earthly system or confined to its traditions, for my Kingdom is superior to this world!
