Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

With all we have been saying about the money is coming, our verse for today seems like a contradiction. It tells us that we should not labour to be rich, yet the average person takes a job as a way to get wealth. They work solely for the purpose of obtaining money. But that is a poverty mindset. Money is not an end; it is a means to an end – a tool. Foolish people work themselves to death because they do not understand the true purpose of money.
They may have money, but they still think poor. Jesus has indeed commanded us to do business until He comes back. However, it was never God’s will for Christians to work for a living. In fact, it is a curse to sweat for a living, and we are not under a curse. Therefore, we are redeemed from sweating for a living. We work for a giving understanding that our money is for the work of God. When you have this mindset concerning money, you attract wealth because wealth is attracted to those who understand it. Wealth has a purpose. As you do business, concentrate on the purpose of wealth and not the wealth itself, and money will stampede to your accounts!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am created for a godly purpose, and my money is for godly purposes. The money is coming to me to be used for the Kingdom! I refuse to sweat for a living, for I am blessed to prosper, and I work for a giving!
