The Topic of Goodnews Daily Devotional for 27th November 2022 Is “YOUR GENEALOGY ”
Today’s Scripture: 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJV)
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, Saying, oh that thou would bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

You will notice in the preceding verses of the same chapter before Jabez’s prayer that we have a catalog of names and people being born. Generation after generation that preceded Jabez didn’t matter until Jabez, whose name signifies “pain or sorrow,” was mentioned. Everyone before Jabez amounted to nothing, but when Jabez came on the scene, there was a dramatic shift in the situation. Today’s scripture is the lengthy prayer Jabez offered to the God of Heaven! Jabez’s prayer was massive, he laid out exactly what he needed from God and believed that he would have received it, and indeed Jabez obtained his prayer request.
It is important to note that your lineage might have had issues in almost every area of life. But dare to be the curse breaker, dare to be the barrier breaker, dare to be the yoke destroyer, dare to be the financier and entrepreneur of international reputation for your family. Jabez was later called “honourable” instead of “pain or sorrow”. An honourable is well respected in society, the community, and the nation. That’s who you are, an influencer that will break the backbone of poverty in your family, and it is great! Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am born to confront the issues that trouble my family and win. I am a winner; I have the mind of Christ, I can never be victimized, I am the victor in Jesus’ name! Amen!
