“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me.”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 26TH NOVEMBER 2022.
Our scripture for today is the very words of Jesus Himself. No other religious leader had made a bold claim such as this: the bold declaration of being the way, the truth, and the life. The Bible is full of statements by Jesus telling us who He is. Jesus is the embodiment of true love, which is very hard to find nowadays. The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, speaks about Jesus. His life was foretold and announced by the prophets of old. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
He is the root of Jesse, the rose of Sharon, the author and finisher of our faith, the desire of the nations, everlasting Father, first and last, He is God, head of the Church, Holy One, true light, Sun of righteousness, I AM, king of The ages, king of kings, the lamb of God, the lion of the tribe of Judah, Lord of all, mediator, mighty God, the rock of ages, the Word of God, El Shaddai, and Elohim. Jesus Himself puts it this way in Hebrews 10:7 (KJV), “Then said I, lo, I come (in the volume of a book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.” Jesus is the centrepiece of civilization! Let’s be clear: without Jesus, there is nothing that can exist, for, in Him, we have our being, and in Him, we live and move. Jesus is everything! Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My life is in Jesus. Jesus is the source of my life, and I cannot be moved. With Jesus, I am heavily protected, heavenly defended, and seated far above principalities and power! Hallelujah!
