GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 26TH AUGUST 2023.
The ‘What would Jesus do’ (WWJD) movement originated in 1896 when a young minister challenged his congregation to ask themselves, “What would Jesus do?” before making any decision or taking action. The concept has since been picked up by millions of individuals around the world as a way to guide their daily lives and decisions. This phrase has even spread into popular culture, and its impact can be seen in everything from literature to jewellery. However, there is an aspect of Jesus’ life that is notably absent that many opted not to embrace: the culture of separation.
Jesus lived an extraordinary life of total surrender and obedience to God. The call to follow Him requires us to go beyond the mediocre Christian life – it is a call to true holiness and spiritual maturity. Only through a forsaking of the world in our hearts can we receive the promise of deeper intimacy with God. There is no other way than complete rebellion against sin. Choose to abandon any sinful ways and live in accordance with God’s will. Then, and only then, can you experience the beauty and the wonders of the crucified life.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am moving in higher dimensions as I separate myself completely from everything that has the world’s spirit and embrace the deeper, crucified life. I am all in, and there is no turning back!
