Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2022.
When you need to drive to an unfamiliar location, your car’s navigational system can give you turn-by-turn directions. However, if it were not for the announcement that you have reached your destination, you may not realise that you have arrived. But even if you do not recognise your surroundings, you trust that what the navigational system has announced to you is correct.
You are in the same car, but now your location has changed. Now the Word of God is your spiritual navigational system. And although you are in the same vehicle – your body or the flesh – the Word of God has announced to you that you are in a completely different location. You are in the Spirit. It may seem hard to believe, but trust what the Word of God has announced to you.
When you do not know where you are, you will search for a location that you are already in. That is why so many Christians are still trying to be holy and right with God. They think they are still at their starting location in the flesh, when in reality, they have arrived at their destination. They are in the Spirit. You do not need to “get into the Spirit” or “press into His Presence.” You do not even have to pray to get out of the flesh. You have arrived at your destination. You are in the Spirit. You might make a mistake here and there, but you are not in the flesh.
You may have said or done something you should not have, but as long as you have received Christ, you are not in the flesh! The realisation and manifestation of wonders without number in 2022 will be determined by your recognition of your spiritual location. This is a conscious thing you must tell yourself: I am in the Spirit. I am not in the flesh!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The Spirit of God dwells in me. Therefore, I am not in the flesh! I am in the Spirit!
