Today’s Scripture: Job 1:10 (KJV)
“Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 3RD OCTOBER 2022.
Logically, if money was evil, the devil should be loading everyone and making everyone rich so that they become evil. He doesn’t do that because, according to the devil, money is like a hedge and more of a spiritual entity that protects and covers someone. Watch this, in our scripture, Satan even confessed to God that he can’t do anything to Job because God gave Job everything (Job 1:9-10). He sees the prosperity of Job as a defense against his penetration. Brothers and sisters, money is a defense against the enemy’s devices. You can be easily angered when you are broke. Some sins are products of lack, such as lying, stealing, and prostitution.
When you possess money, it’s like a strong bulwark around you. The Bible also says money is a defense (Ecclesiastes 7:12), and the devil sees money as a hedge (Job 1:10). Today, I pray and prophesy for money and resources in every area of your life in the name of Jesus.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Money is coming to me! I shall have money with a mission, and my prosperity shall be my defense. Hallelujah!
