The Topic of Goodnews Daily Devotional for 15th August 2022 Is “Seed That Speaks”
Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7 (AMPC)
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving].
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 15TH AUGUST 2022.
God has favourites. He loves all of us, but there are some people He is unwilling to do without, and you can be one of them. The Bible tells us in Amos 3:7 that God will do nothing on the Earth without first revealing it to one of His prophets. And here, in our verse for today, we see that God is not willing to do without a prompt to do it giver. That means giving and prophecy are equal in that God is unwilling to do without either of them. In the book of Acts chapter 9, we are told of a woman named Dorcas who died and was brought back to life.
She became indispensable to the ministry because of her giving to the extent that death was overruled. Giving is a way that you can distinguish yourself as a god and defy death, sickness, barrenness, and drought. Above all other things, God will never do without a giver. As a prompt to do it giver, you can boldly declare that whenever God is doing something, He is unwilling to do it without me!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Money is coming to me now! And in this year of Wonders without Number, I am a radical, top-shelf giver! My giving silences the voice of death, poverty, and lack. I am secured and insured, for my seed is speaking for me. Hallelujah!
