Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 18TH OCTOBER 2020
Few Christians seem to be conscious of the fact that God lives in them. They couldn’t be and still talk the way they do. When a need arises in their life, many are quick to say, “No, I can’t do that.” Why? Because they’re trusting in themselves, or the flesh, to put them over.
They know they don’t have the ability in themselves to do it. But when you are conscious that God is in you, then you know His ability is your ability. You are no longer limited by your own human understanding and strength. This is why Paul could say, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
No matter what you face today, and you may be facing seemingly impossible obstacles in your life, you can boldly declare, “my ability is of God; the greater One lives inside of me.” That’s faith talking. And it will put the Greater One to work for you!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The Spirit of God lives in me. My ability is of God, and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Nothing shall be impossible for me today!
