Have you ever found yourself in a position where you were mocked because of your faith? It isn’t an enjoyable experience at all, but if you’ve ever endured such persecution, you are not alone, you won’t be the first and definitely not the last.
The Apostle Paul faced hostile reactions to the Gospel in both the pagan and Jewish worlds. There were times when he was not only poked fun at, but he was physically abused and sent to prison by those whose hearts were filled with hatred toward him.
Yet he could still turn around and say “I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST” hallelujah! Never lose heart when you lose family, friends or associates because of your faith. Never for one second be ashamed of the Holy Spirit in you.
You are a powerhouse walking because of this same Holy Spirit. You are not a loser because you choose to love him, you are the complete opposite of a loser. Be of good cheer even when no one wants to listen. Just engage your faith and let the power of God strengthen you for anything you may be confronting right now.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am not confused or embarrassed when others poke fun at my faith. I don’t shrink back because of intimidation. Greater is He who is in me than He that is in the world – I AM NOT ASHAMED!!
