TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 4:6
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 1ST MAY 2021
The Lord Jesus is the Light of the world. He’s the Light that shines in darkness, and the Bible says the darkness comprehends it not (John 1:5).
This same Light, according to our opening verse, has shined in our hearts to give us light of the knowledge of the glory of God. What does this mean? The Word of God is light (Psalm 119:105); that light is in our hearts.
READ RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TODAY MAY 2021
That means no more darkness, no more confusion, and no more uncertainties in your life. There’s direction and purpose for your life, because you have the light of life.
The Lord Jesus put it this way, “… I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
