The Topic of Goodnews Daily for 16th March 2021 Is “GRACE COLLECTOR”
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-suffi cient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
The Word of God is inerrant and sufficient in its nature, but that does not mean everything in it is for your benefit. There are select portions of scripture that are reserved for esoteric people. That is to say, certain benefits are reserved for a select few. Our scripture for today is one of them.
If you read the verses leading up to this verse, you will see that verse 8 is reserved for givers, people who are partnered with the Gospel.
And it is an exciting verse indeed. It lets us know that the giver can lay claim to “all grace (every favor and earthly blessing)!” Think of that. Is there an earthly blessing you desire? You can have it. Not only that, but it says “every favor.” That means there are different kinds of favor.
There is favor for finances, favor for ministry, favor for business, favor for relationships—all kinds of favor. You need only to collect the favor or earthly blessing that you need. And when you collect it, don’t just take a little bit. The scripture says all grace is available to you in abundance! You can take as much as you want. That’s the good news of God’s grace for the giver.
