GOODNEWS DAILY TEACHING BY UEBERT ANGEL 24TH APRIL.
I love how the Bible is so practical you can just follow principles easily. The scripture says The Lord Jesus Christ withdrew Himself to pray. Simply put, He had times when He left everything behind in order to fellowship with God. Many Christians pray only when they feel like it or when the time is convenient for them to pray.
Remember, we are Christian soldiers, and soldiers have discipline. In the army, you don’t do things when or because you feel like it; you do things because you have to do them. You stick to the schedule; excuses aren’t tolerated.
We say we are followers of Christ. So we copy His prayer life, too. Mark 1:35 says, “While it was still night, way before dawn, he got up and went out to a secluded spot and prayed.” Schedule personal times of prayer as part of your daily routine. When we have scheduled corporate prayer as a church, those times are important too – don’t miss them. PRAY!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I prophesy an even deeper prayer life for myself and those around me. By the words of our prayers, we shall effect change in our world in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
