ANGLICAN COMMUNION DEVOTIONAL OUTLINE  FOR 30TH DECEMBER 2022.

STUDY: In our text today, Jesus gives the parable of the fig tree – a basic analogy from nature that He used to make a point about His second coming. Just as one may easily tell that summer is near when one sees the fig tree begin to sprout leaves, even so believers could know that the coming of Jesus is near when they see the signs Jesus had described. These include the great tribulation (vv. 19-25) and the chaotic events (vv. 26-27). When you see these preliminary events taking place, then the end is soon, the King is at the door. A look at events all over the world reveals that these events or signs are already taking place. Whoever is alive to see these things happening should know that the coming of Christ is near.

Do not Miss This: Prayers for The Last Day of The Year December 2022

And friends, the coming of Jesus is nearer now than when we first believed. How ready are you to meet Him? No matter what terrible things happen in your life, or no matter how many changes you see taking place around you, the word of our Lord is a sure foundation upon which to build our lives. Will you trust in our Lord Jesus and His word, or will you try to build your life on the shifting sands of the world and its lies?

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for not keeping us in the dark.
