TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 15TH DECEMBER 2020

It is always important to know the Word of God so that you can always align yourself with it. Some believers are struggling because they are running on tangent with the scriptures.

The more I study the scripture, the more I find out that it was never God’s intention for His children to be struggling. He can’t call you and say I want you to struggle. Struggle is not part of your salvation package. In John 15:1 the Bible declares:  “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman” (KJV) Therefore, every branch in Him is expected to bring forth fruits.

Verse 5 goes on to say:  “I am the vine and you are the branches. He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing”(NKJV)

What does the branch have to do in order to produce fruit? Nothing at all! Just to connect with the vine. When you connect what happens? Fruit will come from there and it will come to the glory of the tree.

Can you imagine that even when God had endorsed Jesus and called him His only begotten son, the Bible said he met the world and the world did not know him. He also came to his own and they didn’t see him as the man sent by God. Then the bible says: “…. as many as received him to them gave him power to become the sons of God”

As many as were blind that received him, he gave power to receive their sight. As many as were lame that received him, he gave power to walk away from their crutches. As many as were poor that received him, he gave power to become rich.

When you receive Him and you receive His Word, the power to become is given to you. You don’t need to struggle! All you need to do is receive
