TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR TUESDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 2019 – LIVE A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 19:8 KJV

“And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”

Jesus said to Zacchaeus: “This day I will be in your house” (Luke 19:5). Zacchaeus thought to himself: Jesus, you can’t come to my house with all this filth that I represent. It is not possible. And immediately, he started to adjust because he was converted. How can you say you are converted, ten years in church and there is no change. You are still involved in the old things you used to do. If you are born again, it ought to reflect in your life style. I know you want to have miracles in your life. But a new life in Christ is the key to receiving miracles.

MOUNTAIN TOP DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR 10TH SEPTEMBER –GIVE NO PLACE TO BITTERNESS

You cannot be coming to church and committing all kinds of atrocities. The church is not a club. It  is the Body of Christ. Don’t play games with God. You cannot claim to be a Christian and you still want to live anyhow; there is no change we can identify. You are still lying, stealing and cheating on your spouse.  You can’t be trusted. We can’t put things in your hand and turn back, and believe it will still be like that.

You cannot sit under the teaching of the Word and still be the same.  The devil would make mincemeat of you because you had an opportunity to be free and failed to take it. Christianity is real! It is a blood affair! Somebody laid down His life for you! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life”(John 3:16). God does not want you to perish. He doesn’t want you to go to hell.

There is hell and there is Heaven. Decide to live a new life in Christ from today.
