TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

When you see God as your Father, it brings you into a position where you can receive what He has made available for you. Beloved, if you have God as your Father, then you have everything. You are His beloved son! In the gospel of John chapter 10, Jesus said: “I and my Father are one.” Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Jesus answered them, “Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?” The Jews answered him, saying, for a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God” (John 10:33 KJV).

In response, “Jesus answered them, ‘Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? If He called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of Him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God’”(John 10:34-36 KJV).

When Jesus taught us to say “Our Father which art in heaven” in the place of prayer, He wanted us to walk in the consciousness that God is our Father and we are His beloved sons. In John 5:17, He says, “… My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” In John 5:19, He says “… Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do; for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (KJV).

Notice that He said, I am the Son of God. Jesus, what gave you the audacity? I dare to say so because, during my baptism, I heard him say, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” God says He is well pleased with me.

Beloved, God sees you in the class with His Son; Jesus. That makes you a beloved son. You have authority over the enemy. Begin to exercise your authority.
