There are certain people that, when you’re around them, drain all your energy. They always have a problem, tell you what’s wrong, and explain how bad life is. They’re energy suckers. When you leave, you feel like you ran a marathon. You can’t take that on a regular basis and reach your potential.
It’s fine to help them, to encourage them, but if you’re doing all the giving and never receiving, that’s out of balance. You need someone that encourages you, someone that speaks life into you. Don’t sit inactive around people that you know are limiting you, not bringing out the best out of you.
