2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.
“Will it be the blue, black, or green shirt?” “Should I try the grilled fish or perhaps have the chicken salad?” “Not sure if I should go for a swim or stay indoors to read a book?” “Should I read Psalms or Proverbs?” These are some of the thoughts that readily come to mind when taking a decision or making a choice, and such questions require answers.

We all make these kinds of choices every day, but did you know you are where you are today because of the decisions you made yesterday? In fact, everything you do is linked to your decisions: the friends you keep, the books you read, and even the clothes you put on. However, like many young people, you may find it challenging to make the right decisions at certain times.
Your decisions and choices may sometimes be influenced by others. For instance, some people make decisions because of what their friends think while others do so based on the world’s standard of doing things. But as a Christian, your choices and decisions shouldn’t be influenced by the world. Rather, they ought to be made under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word. This way, you’d get to make the right decisions and be guided in God’s perfect will for your life.

Remember, the Bible says, “…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2). So, the next time you have a decision to make, don’t look to the world; get it right through God’s Word and the Spirit of God in you!
