2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.
Alex jumped up to answer the teacher’s question, but shortly after, he ran out of steam and began to stutter. Bob, another student, felt irritated at Alex. Bob would rather be quiet in the classroom, especially when he didn’t know the answer to a question. But Alex was known to be daring, always endeavouring to say something during the class. For that reason, Bob didn’t quite like him. He felt Alex was talkative.

Like Bob, some people believe that anyone who isn’t like them has a problem. And so they try to make others behave like them. But it’s futile to try to make others conform to your own standards.
The best you can do is see people the way God sees them and love them as they are. Remember, God didn’t ask you to change, so He could accept you. He loved you even when you weren’t born again. This is the kind of attitude you must emulate in relating with others. Love them as they are.

This, however, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make necessary changes in your life or expect changes in other people. The change we must all embrace is that which causes us to become more like God. As you grow by the Word, endeavour to share the same Word with others, so they can become what God wants them to be, not what you want them to be.

Thank you, dear Father, for helping me appreciate others and value them for who they are. Your love is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit, and I’m influencing those around me with it, both in word and action, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
