2021 TEENS VOLUME RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MESSAGE.
On a visit to Grandpa, Daphne had followed her cousins to the king’s palace for a communal function. Of all the beautiful events that characterised the day, one that really stuck with her was the praise singer’s act.
Even though she didn’t understand everything the woman said in her ode to the king, she remembered that her praise commanded his attention and got him dancing and blessing her. Nothing else had such a profound effect on him that day. Her cousins had explained that the woman had detailed all the great things the king had done for his people in her song.

Just like that praise singer’s words moved the king, you can move God with your praise, but you’ve got to be specific. That is what praise is anyway—giving God thanks, in the Name of Jesus, for specific reasons. So don’t just say, “I praise you, Lord…”; what exactly are you praising Him for? When you praise God, you must have definite reasons for praising Him, and then voice those reasons.
The sacrifices of praise are words we speak in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. They are confessions, declarations, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs we render to God for His love, grace and goodness towards us.

These confessions are the fruits of our lips, that is, words from our mouths that give glory to God. As you make such confessions in Jesus’ Name, He (Jesus), being our Great High Priest, presents them before the Father, who receives your praise as a sacrifice of a sweet-smelling savour. Hallelujah!
