TEEVO 1ST DECEMBER 2020 – GOD’S IDEAL RELATIONSHIP

TEENS RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TODAY

TEEVO

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 6:9 NASB

“…Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals”

LET’S TALK

“Dad, is it right for a guy to call me his darling?”

“What do you mean, Adam?”

“Steve calls me “Darling,” sometimes in front of the whole class, and it really irks me out!”

“No, it’s not right, it’s unmanly; tell him to stop it the moment he does next time!”

When you study the synoptic gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke, you’d observe that Jesus extensively taught on the principles of our heavenly Kingdom especially when it concerns relationships. In Matthew 19:5 and Mark 10:7-8, for example, He acknowledged the union of one man and one woman as the standard expression of human sexuality for any marriage relationship.

The apostles built on the same foundation. In Romans 1:27 GNB, the Apostle Paul reiterated the Lord’s words, denouncing those who engage in same-sex relationships and the like. It says, “In the same way the men give up natural sexual relations with women and burn with passion for each other. Men do shameful things with each other, and as a result they bring upon themselves the punishment they deserve for their wrongdoing.”

Jesus said in John 15:19 MSG, “If you lived on the world’s terms, the world would love you as one of its own. But since I picked you to live on God’s terms and no longer on the world’s terms, the world is going to hate you.” Refuse to be influenced by the system of this world, which is run by Satan. Don’t let your actions, reactions, thoughts, words, and responses be like those of the people of the world.

In our Kingdom, God’s Word is the final arbiter; we’re cultured and governed by the Word. Therefore, refuse to compromise the standards, values and principles of our heavenly Kingdom. Walk in the light of God’s Word and His righteousness.

Speak

I refuse to live like the rest of the world nor conform to their ways of doing things. I’m a child of the Kingdom, walking in the light of God’s Word and in His righteousness, boldly displaying the virtues and perfections of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
