PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE’S SEEDS OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FOR 2ND FEBRUARY 2022.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that it is the Will of God for His children to be made whole in all areas of life. To be whole is to be healed. God wants your soul, spirit and body to remain whole until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now, it is well known that man is a tripartite being.
Meaning, man is a three-in-one entity. Man is a spirit who lives in a body and has a soul or mind. All these three realms of man’s being can be affected with disease. The disease of the spirit is called sin. The disease of the body is the physical ailment. The disease of the mind is mental ailments like depression, insanity, etc. Now, there are three departments of the mind or the soul.
We have the will which is the centre of decision or choice; the intellect which is the centre for learning or intelligence; and also the emotion which is the centre of feeling and wellbeing. If someone says, “I am not feeling well today. I am feeling low. I am feeling sad. I am feeling depressed.” These are signs of emotional sickness.
You see, apart from mental challenges, the emotion is where most people’s problems lie. Many people are not physically sick but they are emotionally sick. They suffer from diseases of the mind called emotional diseases that affect their feelings.
They have no pain in the body but there is something paining them in their feeling because they are emotionally sick. You see, a person is not whole when he/she is physically healthy but emotionally sick. That is not your portion, in Jesus’ Name. Today, I curse every root of emotional sickness in your life, in Jesus’ Name. Remember this: Many people are not physically sick but they are emotionally sick.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to be emotionally whole.
2. Refuse to be depressed. Feed your mind with the Word always.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You deliver me from every emotional sickness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
