The Topic of Seeds of Destiny Devotional for Today 22nd September 2022 Is “ How To Access Light From Scripture”
Scripture: Romans 10:8.
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Thought for The Day: One way to access light from Scripture is to apply the revealed Word to our lives.
The Word of the God has been established to be the fuel of faith. Light from Scripture is the building block of faith. It is therefore, necessary to access light from Scripture in order to build our faith.
One way to access light from Scripture is to apply the revealed Word to our lives.
For example, in the Old Testament, God gave the children of Israel bread when manna came down from heaven, and Psalm 105:37 says,
He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold, and from among their tribes no one faltered.
There was not one feeble person among the tribes of Israel when God brought them out of Egypt because He fed them with bread daily. So, in the light of this Scripture, you can go to God in prayer and say, “Father! I apply for today’s bread and since you don’t deprive your children of bread, I make demands on You for my daily bread today.”
Light is a product of revelational equations.
For instance, when you have a dream of death, you can go to the Book of Hebrews 2:9 which says,
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
This means, Jesus took away the death that should kill you. He tasted death for your sake; He died at a premature age so your life can be prolonged. No devil is devilish enough to take you before time. For your purpose, Jesus died before time. He died young so you can live long. It doesn’t matter the arrows of the enemy against your life, you cannot die before your time. The just shall not live by his dream; the just shall live by his faith.
Remember this: One way to access light from Scripture is to apply the revealed Word to our lives.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Ask God to give you light or revelation whenever you study the Scripture.
Apply the revealed Word to your life to explode your faith.
PRAYER: I ask, Lord, for fresh light from Scriptures as I study Your Word. Help me to apply the revealed Word to my life in order to build my faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
