OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 23RD FEBRUARY 2021.
Vs. 2 of today’s scripture says: “And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.” Vs. 3 says: “So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.” Then Vs. 4 says: “Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.” Note: it was burned with fire! WHAT YOU GET AFTER THE FIRE IS ASHES!DAVID SAT ON ASHES INSTEAD OF A SWING CHAIR OF RELAXATION!Ashes stand for shame, past glory, ONCE-UPON-A TIME (ICHABOD) experience, defeat, losses, demotion, pain, anguish, regrets, failure, delays, etc. So, DAVID and his men met ASHES and they WEPT TILL THEY HAD NO MORE POWER TO WEEP BECAUSE the beauty of Ziklag was gone! In this year 2021, the LORD says to 12, 780 users of today’s devotional, ‘I SHALL RESTORE YOUR BEAUTY AND GLORY which was REPLACED BY ashes – SHAME AND DEMOTION’!
There are 18 ODM users that LOST their testimonies – after giving it openly. The LORD says, ‘I SHALL RESTORE that testimony’! 1,148 ODM users have become ONCE- UPON-A-TIME; the LORD says ‘TIME IS UP for your tormentors, and I shall raise you again’! ALL THAT DAVID SAW WAS ASHES! The children were gone! The wives were gone! The buildings and animals (businesses) were burnt! AND THE 600 MEN WHO HE CALLED HIS “FRIENDs” ALL TURNED AGAINST HIM – LOYALTY CRISIS. The Ashes phase of your life shows you who your friends really are! But Vs. 8 is clear on the fact that your last bus-stop cannot be ASHES but BEAUTY: “And David enquired of the LORD, saying, ‘Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them?’ And He answered him, ‘Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” RECOVERING ALL shall be your story this year! BEAUTY shall replace ashes!FAME SHALL REPLACE SHAME! Promotion will replace demotion! Testimonies will show up to silence perpetual trials! Yes, in 2021, you are getting up from the ashes of delay or losses and there shall be BEAUTY for ASHES!

2. In your own words, pray about today’s word as led now.
3. Lord, in this year 2021, give me OPEN BEAUTY for ASHES. My last bus-stop cannot be “ASHES BUS-STOP.”
4. Lord, raise me up again from the ashes of shame, losses, delay in fruit of the womb, sickness, premature family deaths, spirit husband/wife, rise and fall, confusion and disappointments, marital delays and marital disconnections, financial ashes, etc, in Jesus name (Pray it seriously till you have peace to stop). Pray about today as led now.
