OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 17TH NOVEMBER 2020.
A study just showed that some 4.75 million animal lovers in Britain, won“t let their pets see them naked. They said they will never undress in the presence of their pets. Animal Welfare Charity Brooke finds the least embarrassed in Eastern England. Those in South West insist that they will never allow their pets to see t heir nakedness. Wow!Undressing is an everyday task, but a quarter of Britons won“t let their pets see how God made them – NAKED. Funny but true! But when men are ashamed to be naked before animals, does it cross their minds that WE ARE ALL NAKED DAILY BEFORE GOD? Yes! Even when pets don“t see your nakedness, never forget that in the eyes of your Creator, NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM HIM. Hebrews 4:13 says: ’Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.‘ Note:’…all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do…‘ That is why we should live a life that is pleasing to God and not just to men.
There are too many ’MEN PLEASERS‘ in these end times. There are FEW ’GOD PLEASERS.‘ Many people care more about what men think about them than what God thinks about them. He sees that secret lie! He sees t hat secret fornication/adultery! He sees you gossiping about others! He sees your bitter heart of anger and unforgiveness, though you may smile before men. He sees you murmuring about that delay! He sees you envying others and comparing yourself to others! He sees you pitying yourself and wishing you were not born again! In fact, He sees that postponement of your prayers and Bible studies – living at ease in Zion! Oh! YOU ARE NAKED BEFORE HIM even when adorned in your well-tailored clothes. Hear A. W. Tozer: ’A Pharisee is hard on others and easy on himself, but a spiritual man is easy on others and hard on himself.‘ Oh, close with Adrian Rogers: ’We ought to be living as if Jesus died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back this afternoon.‘ LIVE for heaven at last because you may hide from pets, but you are NAKED BEFORE the POTTER of your soul!
ODM PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2020.
1. Take your best song of worship as led.
2. In your own words, pray about today“s word as led.
3. Men are hiding their NAKEDNESS from pets. Repent from any way in which you have lived like a HYPOCRITE.
4. I refuse to be a PHARISEE. I shall be hard on myself and judge myself.
5. Lord, YOUR EYES see all about me! I shall live as if the LORD will return today. So help me God.
6. Pray for married homes today! Loose peace!
7. Pray about today as led.
