OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 13TH JULY 2021.
I got the mail below and decided to share it: “Good day Sir, I am writing to share this testimony as I had promised to do. The company I work for had announced redundancies. Suddenly, the first lockdown happened.
We all started working from home and the proposed redundancy date was moved forward. I was already tired of the place as I had been on the same grade for a very long time with the amount of work increasing.
So I prayed that I would leave in a big way. Sometime in June 2020 (DURING THE LOCKDOWN SEASON), an emergency meeting was called just 2 days after the regular departmental meeting. We all wondered what it was for.
To the glory of God, that meeting was to announce promotions and my team was included. To top it all, the promotions were backdated to July 2019. I left that company at the end of 2020 in a big way as that promotion also affected our final payoff. Our God is indeed awesome! He does not sleep nor slumber! Thank you Almighty Father.
