OUR DAILY MANNA DEVOTIONAL FOR 17TH OCTOBER 2020.
Trials teach us WHO WE ARE! They make up the soil and show us what we are made of. In the midst of your trials and pain, don’t ever think you are being PUNISHED by an ANGRY GOD; always see the battles He allows you to go through as His way of PURGING AND PRUNING (TRIMMING) you to become a greater JEWEL in His showroom. Don’t you PRUNE (CUT and TRIM) your precious trees or gardens? What is the result? A MORE BEAUTIFUL GARDEN! Do you TRIM your garden because you are ANGRY? No! You TRIM and cut out WEEDS because a more GLORIOUS GARDEN is your goal.
That is the story of your life! No wonder Job said in Job 23:10 – “But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” I prophesy: YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, FAMILY AND MINISTRY WILL COME FORTH AS GOLD! Yes! Your marital story will come forth as gold! Your financial story will come forth as gold! Your career and ministry story will come forth as gold! Your health will come forth as gold! The story of your children will come forth as gold! As 2020 ends, stop crying in secret! STOP pitying yourself or envying others!
EVERYBODY HAS A CROSS THEY ARE CARRYING! Listen: LIFE IS NOT A PLAYGROUND BUT A CLASSROOM!
God is at work! He makes no mistakes! God alone knows what each of us must endure in order for HIS CHARACTER TO BE FORMED IN US! It is in our trials that God REFINES us and removes our impurities. Like refined gold and the silversmith at word, when you pass through your trials, the world will see HIS REFLECTION in you!
REFUSE TO QUIT NOW! Hold on, hold out and TRUST HIM! Your God has a plan!*
