The Topic of Teenagers Open Heavens for 12th July 2022 Is “Acceptable Addiction”
Read: Deuteronomy 6:4-9
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

The only type of addiction expected of a heaven-bound child of God is the one that is centred on Jesus. You will know such a fellow by the things he/she surrounds himself/herself with. His/her intoxication is expressed through the decorations or posters in his/her room, the friends he/she keeps and the content he/she reads or listens to.
When people experience a person’s lifestyle and confess to you that this boy or girl is in love with Jesus, then you know that this is a welcome addiction. How can you become a Jesus addict? One can become a Jesus addict by reading God’s word, memorising and meditating on it, glorifying God through songs, attending godly events, avoiding evil communication, reading good books, having godly thoughts, et cetera.

Everything you do should be a constant reminder of Jesus second coming. Yes! Jesus is coming back for only those who are addicted to Him on earth. He will come unannounced like a thief in the night. Dont be caught unawares.
