TEENS OPEN HEAVEN FOR TODAY.

Open Heavens for Teens daily devotional by Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing.

TOPIC OF OPEN HEAVENS FOR  26TH MARCH 2020 IS “YOUR WALL.”

MEMORISE: 1 Samuel 16:7c
for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
READ: MATTHEW 7:17-20
17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
On Facebook, you have a wall. It is on your wall that you post pictures and write-ups for your friends to see.
When people want to know about you, they go to your wall to see your posts and then they can have a good idea of the kind of person you are.
Just as you have a wall on Facebook, you have a wall in real life too.
Whenever someone wants to know the kind of person you are, they take a quick look at how you are dressed (pictures) and how you talk (write-ups) to assess you.
Everyone you come across is checking out your wall and will only address you based on how they perceive you to be. You should be deliberate about what you post on your real-life wall.
Be conscious about how you want people to address you. If you want to be respected, then you must dress respectably and speak respectably.
I am sure you know certain people in your class who because of what they constantly post on their real-life wall, people relate to them in ways that even they don’t like.
Some teenagers are called ‘Pastor’, not because they ever told anyone to call them Pastor, but because of what they post on their real-life wall. What do you post on your wall?
REFLECTION: Based on what you post on your real life wall, what can people nickname you?
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  JOSHUA 14-15; LUKE 4:33-44

HYMN 7
1.Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moment and days
Let them flow ceaseless praise.
2.Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of thy love
Take my feet and them be
Swift and beautiful for thee
3.Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my king
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.
4.Take my sliver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as thou shalt choose.
5.Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall no longer mine:
Take my heart, it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
6.Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At They feet its treasure store;
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee
