According to our Fire Scripture for today, Jesus cursed a fig tree because He found no fruit on it, except leaves. By this act, Jesus gave believers a license to curse anything contrary to the plan of God for their lives. The Bible says that the axe is laid on the root of the tree; any tree that does not bear good fruits shall be hewn down and cast into the lake of fire.
In Isaiah 5, God gave a parable of a tree He invested so much in but would not bear any fruit. God said He would cut it down. Are you a fruit-bearing Christian? If you are not, you stand the risk of being cut down by the Lord. That will not be your portion, in Jesus’ name.
The important lesson you should learn from this account is that Jesus, who is love personified, cursed the fig tree and it dried up. It means that He has also given you the license to curse everything that is unprofitable, inimical, ungodly and injurious in your life.

Jesus has delegated all power and authority the Father gave Him to the Church (you and I). So, if we exercise our God-given authority as Jesus did, we would get the same result He got. In every situation or challenge that Jesus had to deal with, he brought the power of God to bear.
He demonstrated the supremacy of God’s power and His sovereignty. Stop complaining about that recurring health problem, financial problem or challenge in your business or career. Curse it and command it to die. It will. Animate and inanimate objects obey the command and authority of God.
The Bible says that immediately, the tree withered away. If things rise up in your life that are contrary to God’s plan: sickness, poverty, indebtedness, failure, stagnation, retrogression, demotion, demonic attack, curse them and the spirit behind them. Command them to dry from their roots, in the name of Jesus. They will.
Has the doctor said he found traces of cancer cell in you? Reject it, curse it and command the spirit of cancer to leave your life. Curse the tree of cancer to dry up from the roots and die. Is any organ in your body malfunctioning? Command the spirit behind the malfunction to die. Take charge and enforce your dominion. Jesus was always in charge and winning. Use His anointing, presence, power and authority to reign in life.
