Fire Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

Memory verse : Psalm 30:5

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Motivational Quote: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Prophetic Word: The good Lord will never leave you nor forsake you.

Christianity has not promised a life without difficulties or problems, though our God is loving and gracious, plenteous in mercy. Challenges are bound to come our way. Let us look at the story of Joseph in the Bible. He dreamt of being served by his siblings and parents; his siblings did not take it in good faith. He was thrown into a pit and later sold off into slavery by his brothers.

While as a slave, he served very well and became the chief servant in charge of his master’s household. His master’s wife wanted him, but he did not succumb; he was thrown into the prison. He held on, he did not blaspheme, nor grumble but trusted that the good Lord whom he served would remember him. He was eventually remembered and moved from prison to the palace. He became the Prime Minister in Egypt, a foreign land. God knows the difficulties we are passing through, and He knows our various challenges. God uses those things to prepare us for greater testimonies of a life of ease and glory.

As children of God, we need to persevere in the time of trouble, problems or challenges, keep trusting do not give up, keep believing that God is aware. Do not faint or grow weary in the day of adversity, keep pushing. A little PUSH (pray until something happens) will make a difference. Always meditate on the word of God. How to overcome these challenges includes: making Jesus your friend, trusting and believing that nothing is impossible with Him. Also, live a godly life, always read and study the Word of God to get encouragement and direction, finally pray fervently.

The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Beloved, in every dark cloud, there is always a silver lining. In every seemingly unpleasant situation, God has a message and a purpose for you. Always remember that God’s thought towards you is to give you a glorious future and an expected end. No matter what may be happening to you or happening in your life, always remember that God loves you and is working for your good. He did not abandon Joseph in the pit, Potiphar’s house and the prison.

At the appointed time, He orchestrated the fulfilment of Joseph’s dream, though Joseph went through God’s test and succeeded. God did not abandon Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego in the fiery furnace. The Most High came to their rescue. He also showed Himself mighty in the life of Daniel by shutting the lions’ mouths. He is still on the throne and will come to your rescue!

5. The God of peace shall give me peace always and by all means, in the name of Jesus.

6. The fourth man in the fiery furnace, appear in my situation, in the name of Jesus.

7. My challenges shall become testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

HE GAVE TO ME A SEAL

1. He gave to me a seal,
Of the great debt I owe,
And as He gave, He smiled and said,
“Always remember me”.

2. He gave to me a seal,
All of my debts He paid,
And as He gave, He smiled and said,
“Always remember me”.

3. I shall treasure the seal,
Though the debt is all paid,
The seal told of the love of one,
Who paid the debt for me.

4. I looked at it and smiled,
Again, I looked and wept,
The earnest of His love for me,
I’ll always treasure it,

5. It is more than a seal,
It is in remembrance,
That all the debt of sin was paid,
By Lord, Emmanuel.
