MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

Victory begins with vigilance. It is the key that unlocks the door of victory.

Somebody shared the testimony of a sister with me. The sister was preaching the gospel on the street and a certain man invited her to share the gospel with him.

She entered the man’s house not knowing what the man had in mind. Suddenly, instead of the man to sit on the chair and listen to her, he slapped her on the chest and started chanting incantations. But everything he conjured in his incantations happened to him instead of the sister. He fell down and began to scream and beg the sister.

The sister was surprised at what was happening. She did not understand why the man had slapped her on the chest when he was the one who invited her to preach to him.

Meanwhile, she could notice that life was going out of the man as he continued to beg her to rescue him. So, she prayed for him and he recovered. He asked the sister, “What kind of power do you have?” He confessed to her that, for the past 21 years, he had sacrificed a virgin every year to his idol. And that all he would call the virgin to do, has always been to enter into his house, slap her on the chest and she would fall down and he would cut off any part of her body that is needed for his rituals.

The man could recognise a virgin if he saw one, but when he tried his fetish power on the sister, he met with a failure. Why? It was because the sister knew her God and was obedient to Him. Unfortunately, many sisters are ashamed to preach the gospel. Some men too, are ashamed to share the gospel with unbelievers. They fail to realise that the more one witnesses for the Lord, the more His power flows into the believer.

Vigilance is very essential in these last days. The Bible says, “Be sober.” This implies that one should be quite, be calculative, have a sound mind, be humble, be attentive and be careful. The Bible does not stop there. It goes further to say, “Be vigilant.” Why? Because the devil, your adversary, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. Beloved, vigilance will save you from errors!

MORNING

1. Thunder of heaven, rise up against every power planning my disgrace, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every evil handwriting, programmed by satanic agents into the heavenlies against my life, be wiped out by the blood of Jesus.
3. Every evil word, programmed against my star shall not be established, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

1. Let every barrenness, programmed into my star be deprogrammed, in the name of Jesus.
2. Any evil thing, programmed into the sun, the moon and the stars against my destiny, be dismantled in Jesus’ name.
3. Any evil thing, programmed into the sun and moon against my life, be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every evil spiritual equation, programmed against my life, I command you to change, in the name of Jesus.
