MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

Today’s devotional will challenge you to look inward in order to avoid hidden traps. A few years ago, there was a very popular magician, who often performed different kinds of tricks to entertain the public. The first of the tricks was to tell everyone around that a stone could talk. He would thereafter talk to the stone and an unknown voice would answer him from the stone. The last of the stunts was done with a python that was nicknamed Bobo Serpent.

Once the magician called its name, the large and terrific creature would come out of its cage. Many of the spectators would take to their heels at first, before coming back to resume watching the show. The serpent would crawl to the magician and wrap itself around him like a rope. The magician would kiss the serpent and order it to go back to its cage. In obedience, the serpent would unwind itself and crawl back to the cage.

Other magical acts had been performed on a particular day, until it got to the serpent’s magical show, which was usually the climax of other acts. The magician ordered the python out and it did. He also instructed the serpent to coil around him, which was the normal act.
But suddenly, the spectators discovered that he had stopped smiling and started screaming. Many who were around roared in laughter, because they thought it was part of the trick.
Shortly after, the serpent fastened itself around him; and people began to flee when it dawned on them that his bones began to break. By the time the serpent released the magician, his body fell lifeless on the ground.

Beloved, you must work on your hidden faults and weaknesses, lest they turn around to trap you.

1. As the enemy clothed himself with cursing like as a garment, so let it come into his bowels like water and like oil into his bones, in the name of Jesus.

2. By the power that divided the red sea, O God, arise and fight for me, in the name of Jesus.

3. By the power that slapped Herod with worms, O God, arise and fight for me, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
1. Any power that needs to die, for my life to become a positive wonder, die, in the name of Jesus.

2. Any power that needs to die, for my uncommon testimonies to appear, die, in the name of Jesus.

3. Every conspiracy from the covens to kill me, backfire, in Jesus’ name.

4. Every power of bewitchment assigned to pollute me, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
