Jesus gave His disciples five signs or marks of a true believer. He said that they shall cast out demons, speak in a new tongue (Baptism of the Holy Ghost), take up serpent, drink deadly things which will not harm them, and shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. A mark is a label, a sign, a stamp, an identity, or a design on a person or thing.
God puts His marks on all His genuine children. These marks may not be visible to the naked eye because they are spiritual. In the same way, the powers of darkness have their marks, signs and labels which they use to identify their preys. In the African tradition, villages, towns and families have their identity marks. God placed a mark upon Cain so that he would not be killed. (Gen 4:13-15).

Judas kissed Jesus as a mark of betrayal. Marks are highly symbolic in the spiritual realm. The kingdom of darkness is very wise and cunning, and it understand the usefulness of marks. They use evil marks to identify their victims, to magnetise evil to a person as well as to block blessings and breakthrough.
Evil marks include mark of rejection, spiritual embargo, mark of hatred, mark of bad luck, satanic perfume, victim syndrome, evil displacement, spiritual insanity, spiritual barrenness, desert spirit, desert anointing, sicknesses and diseases, etc. The devil will eventually use the mark of the beast 666 to rule the world at the evil age.
The mark of darkness opens a person to attack and oppression. This mark can be blotted out by revelation knowledge prayers and the blood of Jesus. You need to first identify the mark, break evil covenant attached to it and use the blood of Jesus to erase it. You also need to learn the various ways people acquire evil spiritual marks and avoid becoming a victim. You can discover the secret by praying prayers of inquiry.
I advise you to fast and pray or go for complete deliverance and ensure that you blot out all evil marks from your spirit, soul and body with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
