MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 25TH MAY 2020
As far as the Almighty is concerned, half surrender is unacceptable to Him. God will not accept anything less than absolute surrender as it shall be revealed in today’s devotional study. There is a power known as the strong man. It is the supervising power over stubborn situations.
Many years ago, I used to go and see a man who was blind. I felt very sorry for him and at the same time angry with the devil. I took his case seriously convinced him to get rid of all his charms and amulets. I was going to his house every evening. The man, who could not see me whenever I entered his room until I talked soon had began to notice the buttons on my shirt.
One day, I got to his house and the situation had become worse. I asked him what was happening and he told me to keep praying for him. Then, I went before the Lord to enquire about his case. I asked the Lord to reveal what was wrong with him to me and the Lord told me; to go there at 12 midnight instead of 6:00 p.m. When I got to him that night, I met a woman on his bed and I asked who she was. She told me that she was the man’s wife.
I told her that it was a lie because I knew the man’s wife. The man told the woman not to go out of the room if I asked her to. That woman who was the secret sin of the man co-promoter was “the strong man” behind his problem. This “strong man was nullifying my prayer efforts and was being reinforced by the man himself.
Beloved, according to today’s passage, you must allow God’s word to permeate every department of your life. You must surrender all your life to God without holding back from Him. This is the minimum condition for Him to allow Him to open his doors of favours and blessings for you. Do not promote the works of darkness.
