JOYCE MEYER DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

Joyce Meyer daily devotional for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing.

TOPIC OF JOYCE MEYER DEVOTIONAL FOR  20TH FEBRUARY 2020 – “WE NEED EACH OTHER.”

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 18:19 (AMPC)

Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.

JOYCE MEYER DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

We need each other in the body of Christ. Men and women need each other, different churches and denominations need each other. No one can go it alone—we were all designed by God to work together. Like one body with many parts, we all have different purposes that fit together in His ultimate plan (Ephesians 4:16 ).

I believe that when we get to heaven, we’ll learn the truth about our differences. We will learn that all of us were right about some things and wrong about others…but even the things we were right about won’t matter. God wants us to stop fighting with everyone over petty things we disagree about, and to begin finding things we can agree on so that we can get along with one another.

Practice looking for ways to agree with other believers. Focus on finding common ground with them, and then watch what God does through your unity!

Joyce Meyer’s Daily Devotion Prayer Starter 20/02/2020

Father, please teach me how to find common ground with other believers, and to focus on where we agree instead of where we disagree. Thank You for showing me what that looks like in each relationship, and for helping me walk in unity! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
