JOEL OSTEEN MESSAGE FOR TODAY SATURDAY 23RD JANUARY 2021.

We all want to rise higher and accomplish dreams, but as long as we’re only focused on ourselves, we’ll be stuck. God brings people and opportunities across our path so we can be a blessing. It might mean bringing an elderly neighbor food, or cleaning up someone else’s mess, or mentoring a young person.

When you serve others, God releases a new level of favor to take you higher. We think we have to work our way to the top, but the truth is that you serve your way to the top.

If Job had stayed focused on himself and all the troubles he’d gone through, he wouldn’t have prayed for his friends, and he would have stayed where he was. The reason some people are not happy is because all they think about is their dreams, their problems, their family. You need to take a break from you. It’s not healthy to have you on your mind all the time. Something powerful happens when you are good to somebody else.

JOEL OSTEEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER FOR TODAY 23RD JANUARY 2021.

Father, thank You that Jesus came not to be served but to serve others and give His life as a ransom for many. Help me to be like Him and keep my eyes open for the people and opportunities You bring me to serve and bless. I believe You are taking me higher. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
