Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them and gained five more talents.
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2022.
I love this fellow in this verse. The Bible tells us that immediately when he received the five talents, he didn’t procrastinate but he invested immediately. He started buying and selling commodities. He was on the stock market just like any legitimate business and didn’t wait to be told what to do. Only Christians will wait and wait, telling people, they are waiting on the Lord when in fact the Lord is waiting on them to make that strategic move. Who do you think gave you that idea? How did you get connected to the resources? Who is keeping that desire and fire to enter business burning in you? By now, you should know it’s the Lord’s doing. He has already started the work inside of you. You must apprehend this and begin to move to unchartered territories.
It’s about time you start this business that you have long desired and stretch out your net further into the deep. You have been fishing in shallow waters for a long and now it is time to move further. You have been too local for too long, now is the time to go global, especially with the advent of these new social media platforms. Today as you are moved by the Spirit, do not relax. The fellow in the scripture today acted immediately and he gained one hundred per cent profit, which should be your mindset.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My life is enjoying daily benefits from God, and I’m called to greatness. I’m a kingdom financier and a money magnet; delay is not in my vocabulary. I shall succeed in everything I do in the name of Jesus. Amen.
