TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God.
GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY 4TH AUGUST 2021
The scripture instructs us not to be conformed to this world, because God does not want us to think nor act like the rest of the world. As Christians, we ought to be different. The second instruction is to be transformed. This means to be metamorphosed, to be changed into a new form! This transformation can only be achieved by the renewing of one’s mind.
This means changing your way of thinking through the Word of God. Your values, your opinions, your ideas and your choices must be governed by the Word of God! We belong in a different kingdom, that’s God’s Kingdom, and the life that He’s given us to live is different from that known by the rest of the world.
We live in divine health and prosperity! We live a victorious life, full of purpose, and this life we live is full of light and full of glory. We choose to make our Lord Jesus the Lord of our lives!
