The story of Abraham and his wife Sarah is a perfect example that there’s no such thing as “too late” with God. Our scripture for today says, against natural hope, Abraham believed in hope that he might be the father of many nations, according to the Word of God. He was about a hundred years old, while Sarah was ninety years (Genesis 17:17).
Yet, God told Him he was going to have a child through Sarah. Abraham believed, and at the appointed time, Sarah brought forth Isaac. Some people often lose hope, wondering why they didn’t get the job, contracts, promotion or money for which they had prayed and fasted.
It makes no difference how hopeless you might think your situation is; there’s no such thing as “too late” with God. Simply trust Him, for He’s the God who gives life to the dead, and calls things that don’t exist as though they already existed.
He lives in eternity where there’s no past or future. With Him, everything is in the “NOW”; and He proves Himself Master over all circumstances, no matter how late, dead, or impossible they might seem in the eyes of men.
